Backs from bible camp. If you ask me how BC 2010 was, I'll give you the same answer I gave everyone who asked.

HAHA. yupp, this year's bc was definitely special.  Digging deeper into His word. Things revealed to us. Unmasking people. Everything. Camp felt like it was over wayyyy too soon.
 
I was in team ZADOK with Yew May as big sister, Ai Lyn, Emmilyn, Kah Wei as Big Brother (again), Lemuel and Zac as Asst. Big Brothers and Ben.  The rest of the people we got know better by the second day lah.

My team, of course, was AMAZING. simply truly wonderful people.  :)

Will do a post on bible camp (i really hope i keep to it) soon.  When Christine posts up the pictures. I MISS YOU GUYS!

Training today was awesome as usual and i couldn't resist blogging 'bout today before going on with the scheduled posts. BAHH.

DAYS WITH FLOORBALL ARE ALWAYS AWESOME.  

anyways. training was held at pbsm. 9.30 - 1.00.  BUT, as usual, we arrived.... LATE.  xD  
listened to weird songs while having our usual LOUD conversations in aso's car.
good times.  :D

we had passing and push-ups at first.  no more sprint, cross leg, back-track, push-up, defend and lunge.  it was more towards technical stuff. then we had some defender attacker steering drill.  :)   girls partner with girls.  as usual, either sonia or pei.  :D
wonder what will happen when there's only one girl during training.  hm.

had the two attackers on one defender drill. and the juniors got taught how to do run-passes.  *they're called play-ups, no?   whatev.  

game time.  being excited to revive our oh-so-dead FFC blog, i was lent sonia's 8 megapixel camera phone to take shots of training.  ohthatwasfun.  :)

played with the seniors occasionally. (ohthatwasfuntoo!)   they did killers HAH.  :P

selepas the official ffc training for today, some of us practised shots.  YES, i practised wrist shots again.  gotta get the feel which i'm not getting yet.  haha.  

went to makan near rgbc after putting back the goal posts.  TRISTAN JAMES.  better WATCH OUT.  the NEXT TIME.  that mermaid / hippo ah.  mulut tak habis habis.  LOL.    gossiped AS USUAL.  xD

got home, rushed and headed to church for yp. alan was talking about purity.
pure ==>  unblemished, clean, undefiled. etc.    you geddit lah.   we played frisbee today. but it started to rain so BLEHH.  

world cup today. second day weii.  let's see.. i'm supporting:..

spain, brazil, argentina, italy, france, england and maybe protugal.  :D

Today. was an AWESOME day. why?  cause..

i finally played floorball.
after one whole week of not touching my stickkk. and after getting all pumped from reading all the old FFC blog posts that were oh so interesting.  :)

So it went like this...

Bangun pagi gosok gigi, minum milo, empty tummy, pergi rumah daniel boey, kacau dia sampai mati.  xD

went to boey's house at nine-ish.  kacau-ed him got ready and headed to the cemmented community hall area.  practised our wrist shots and had a load of nonsense back there. got bitten by mosquitoes. alot. 10 sumth-headed back to his house and simon was awake by then, lazing on the sofa. started doing taste tests on the drinks in his fridge. like comparing which juice was sweeter [lol] and having my 100 plus.  :P   selepas membuat havoc, i pun, balik rumah.  :D

chilled and got ready for relatives' visit.  when they arrived, we had lunch and talked.  YES, i played tap tap on my cousin's i-touch and lost badly.  CHEH.

later, at about six-ish, linken came to pick me up to his place to practise my wrist shots. YES, i know. i'm obsessed with wrist shots. WHY?  cause i couldn't seem to get them for a long timeee.  reached there, didn't set up the goal post in the end since there wasn't much time so we just trained shots.  Ken ken taught me tricks and gave me tips and pointers about each type of shot, the right techniques and about execution. " Get you TECHNIQUE right first, then only ACCURACY followed by POWER.."   somehow i kept doing power first, then technique and last accuracy.  hence, i did very lousy shots.  hahaha.  so memalukan. LOL.  obviously, we fooled around ABIT while doing the shots. how can you not fool around when there's linken??  
kao giak sent me home about 7-ish.  

FOOTBALL HAS STARTED. world cup.  the first match is gong on now even as i speak! type.  XD  

~waka waka people.  :D

so anyhoo, today, the 11th of june is DON SHAKIR the lame's birthday.. yupp, he's finally my age.  xD   BOO.

thank you for all your randomness, lame-ness and stealing my pwn points-ness. The brittish accented italian wannabe, pro defender of contact, fatty who likes to eat cookies and cream, pro piano player and president / vice president / assistant secretary / treasurer / assistant treasurer / ajk of CLUB GAME.  

i wish you a very happy birthday.  :)   yes, too bad you couldn't come for training but oh well.  one on one still on. MONDAY kay.  don't embarrass me.  :P

woke up at 5 sumthing in the morning?  couldn't get back to sleep.  hmm.  so i texted ahem to ask how prefects camp was so far.  then he ran out of credit?  o.o

so yeah.  waited for aso till 9 o'clock.  yes, ming hwee the ever early.  got to pbsm and started training.  we did SBS.  go figure.  :P

ten minutes into training, i got banged by kyle.  LOL.  got scratches all.  feels like a bruise.  ah well.  i still love kyle.  HAHAH.

then we did three on three. FARNEY weih.  tristan dunno how to hormat girls wan.  keep whacking people.  TSK. 

THEN we did power play.  four on two.  but skola cina changed it to three on two.  and we got pwned by tristan and murugesu.  they are good.  kids yang amat berpotensi.  :)

had some discussion after that outside while fireBRANDS used the hall for their training.  saw beverly there.  the prettiest she-man-est girl.  =D

after ky was satisfied, we went to makan.  ky, mikey, algin and me.  ate at that place opposite shang-wu school. the sukpen place.  :D    awesome.  
it was quiet and all.  until suddenly, SUDDENLY, kuan yang  started lifting his one dollar bills to the light,  examining them.  hahahaaaa.  so i started laughing la. FUNNY OKAY.  then  he turned and asked sternly, " eh why just now so muka masam, now can laugh wan?  "     O.O

**note to ky:  eh, people not talking and concentrating on food is not called muka masam okayyy.  =P

after we makan-ed, we sent algin home. next stop was mikey's ..  but we got stuck in traffic jam.  
" wahh, it took us 14 minutes just to get down here from the bridge. "   XD

ky was as usual, playing his korean girl songs as background music. you could hardly hear it.
we got talking about floorball and football and then it was silent.  and i went
" eh, you don't listen to radio ah?  mind if i change? " (coz i don't exactly fancy whiny songs, all sounding the same. and i don't even understand them.)

ky bagi green light, so i switched. first he put light fm.  *snores*
so i changed it lah.  fly fm is waaay better and more familiar.  :D
THEN THEN THEN right, you could hear some sound coming from the back seat. humming. and occasional singing.  xD      ahem.

some avril song came on, (and since avril has those sopy korean girl type of songs, the type ky likes, he obviously knew the song)   he started humming to it too.  then all of a sudden all three of us were somehow singing to the song.  farney i tell you.  coz why?
coz i never knew mikey or kuan yang could sing. or were actually musically inclined.  awesome weih.

after being stuck in jam for close to an hour (although it didn't feel like it), we dropped mikey off and headed to my place.  oh did i mention?  i got some dude's last year's jersey.  LOGAN.  LOL.  they're huge, both the pants and top.  the pants is like XXL or sumth.   wear to sleep?  xD   kiddingggg. kuan yang don't kill me if you see this.

bathed, then went for youth.  movie day.  so we watched this movie called ' Come What May'    i loved it.  although there was alot of intelligent conversation, the content and main ideas were touching and so real.

Go watch it.  *thumbs up.

So that was my awesome day.  what did i get from it?  a bruised cheek (ilovekyle),  lower body muscle ache (what with all the bending and getting up),  some shockalingam (i still can't believe they sing)  and thoughts from a good movie.

well hello people.  yes the blogger's back.  :D
i bet you guys missed me. HAH. i know you did.  

chinese new year this year was great for me.  i loved it. super fun with the cousins and all. loads of bonding and good food.  

*note: i have reached my maximum BFI (body fat index).  lol no kidding. i don't think i can go any higher?  (i sure hope not)  53.5 kg is enough for me. xD

yes, we had great good food this year.  international buffet, idon'tknowhowmany rounds of baskin robbins, nasi lemak, cheesecakes for my cousin's birthday, rendang, suckling pig, fat sui yin, cheese crabs and pies.  =O   yeah, i be FAT. super. lol

moving on. so yeah. new year's eve we went back. helped clean up and stuff. reunion dinner was great. as usual.  :D

chor yat (first day), was nicee. hahah. cousins were so fun. making tonnes of noise. this is the first year we didn't have anyone visiting us except our usual ku cheong kung and ku po and su pao. haha. my aunt was of course fun as usual. i feel amused around her.  we had our anual lunch at some restraunt. then pergi beli yok kon (dried meat).  my grandmom and grand aunt went to the temple to pay their respects. first time i've been to the temple. whoa. it looks very nice.   at night we watched this jay chou, gong li and chow yun fat movie. the curse of the golden flower. the costumes are magnificent weii. the show was pretty sad.  :O

chor yi (second day). monday - didn't do much i think... except sleep.  :D  yeah la. chinese new year this year was particularly hot.  everybody started sweating right after they took a bath.  :O   my cousins and my brother went to the park. the huge one. and me? i slept.  xD   yes i know, BIG PIG BIG PIG.    x]   be jealous that i can sleeeeep.

tuesday - went down. further south to visit the other relatives.  was great. met up with DEBORAH the great.  my other cousins were like 'che che zoeeeee!'  and i was like, 'I'VE MISSED YOU TWO. COME 'ERE AND SHOW ME SOME LOVEE.'   yes they are super cute.  :D

weds was all fun. went shopping and stuff. at night, was of course, hello miss international buffet!  xD   oh wow.. what i had been wanting for such a long time. oysters, salmon, lobster, muscles, tuna, octopus, lamb stew, salad, pasta, french bread with many types of cheeses and AH. the list is endless.  super bloated that night.

thursday meant another cousin's (yes i have many cousins) birthday.  which meant tonnes of food yet again. LOL. so i spent time with DEBORAH THE GREAT. (highlighted and underlined)  :D   and we had a sleepover at her place. 

excuse the pig face.  :)

the rest was casual chilling and catching up with relatives. and finishing up HOMEWORK.  ==   (that's it. leave the worst for the last.  xD)

YES, i missed GSN's CNY celebration. and YES, it was great.  :(

i absolutely cannot wait

for my first training with frontliners this saturday.

FUHH.  scaryyyyy.  :D

bible camp '09 was a BLAST. seriously. would love to blog about it now. but ah. i be so lazy. so i shall use the excuse that i haven't gotten all the pictures yet. so i shall wait till the photos are up. :D   yes, i lazy. :P

yeah. as usual, RED team won yet again. every year pun macam tu mia.  =)  weirrddd.

i was in the same group as melissa teoh and stephanie keong. the three noisiest people in camp. waddya expect?  lotsa nonsense and screaming in the dorm. xD 
not to mention having a super cool and high big sis tabitha teo.  :D   we love you all.  =]   spent precious momment and long talks with emmie. and now, i'm her new BODYGUARD. beware lemuel low!  i'm watching youuu.  xP

i did learn some things through the messages. "for everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial". and "wisdom is saying the right thing at the right time".  yeah. easy to say eh?  

and yes, we lost. we got last. how cool is that? but we didn't mind. cuz we had a great BIG BRO. BB was the one who gave us words of semangat. to help us pull through all that loss. xD

and guess what? our fantastic amanazing BB this year was none other than LEE KAH WEI!. yes. i can tell you. everybody in our group learned something about losing, winning and not giving up. encouraging one another through tough times.  and it was thanks to BB we never gave up.  even ah guan said he learned somehting from BB.

so, to tabitha and kah wei, WE LOVE YOU BOTH VERY VERY VERY MUCH! it was great having you guys to lead us. 

yeah, currently planning reunion with the guys. stress weii. LOL. facebook groups are up. photos in the process of being uploaded. yes yes. i can't wait to see you guys again.

the hols are here. i kicked of my hols in a very interesting way. =D   went for the

PENANG BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON

this year! woohoo!   no, not runner, as a st john volunteer. HAHA. still.. :P    went to the headquarters at 10 at night on saturday.  had roll call there. met up with the people from my school. at 11 plus, we took a bus to queens.

yes, my station was at base. :)   base was queensbay.  so, i could actually see all the participants before and after their events. cool, no?  mom and dad didn't want me to be on the bridge anyway. so thank God. :)

PBIM was sooo fun. i saw friends there.  *grins*   

saw the half marathoners: joshua, chris, alan, bing hwang, justin, edward and penny!
quarter marathoners: camy, weng tatt, weng yee, chee yang.
fun runners: melissa and yuun xuan.  (didn't see kah heng and jon though).

so much for being a st john's volunteer. i didn't do my job. i feel so embarassed and guilty. hah. then why DID i do? i waked along the finish and starting lanes. gave support to the half and full marathoners. (cheerleader / sideline semangat giver.) saw josh, chris, bing and justin during the race.  

joshua had cramps, which was such a waste. chris and bing walked back. justin was so tired when i saw him.  was super worried cause he finished late. when he ws nearing the finish line, i went "go justin! come on! you can do it!"  and he went " wanna die de lah! cannot tahan!"   HAHA. was super glad seeing him finish the race, WALKING, not in an ambulance. haha.

after the runs, lepak-ed with camy, melissa and yuun xuan in queens. yes, we were stinky and sticky. xD   waited for dad to come outside coffee bean. chatted. when dad came, we said our goodbyes and hugged, then they walked to xuan's house. i went to church for a while to fetch mom and brother, saw the guys. HAHA. they looked tired!

yes it was a great experience.  :)  thinking of joinning the half marathon next year too. think i can?  :P   haha. 

random thoughts.

• i think we shouldn't keep saying we miss the people from school. we should enjoy our time now. it's the holidays. how can we not enjoy that?  i've been taught to enjoy the present and not dwell too much on the past. what's the point. it's over.  think about the future, and enjoy the present. 

• i miss my babis. eulene and boey. yes, we're all in this situation of trying to forget someone. it stinks i know. we have each other though. don't ever forget that. :)

• i feel like having j.co's food now. donuts and ice-cream yogurt sound so good. 

• floorball trainning next week. monday and wednesday. not that i think i have what it takes to make the cut, but i'll try. so it's most likely bye bye to SUKPEN for me?  i'll go as supporter lah. what i do best anyway.  xD  HAHA.

• eulene sings very nicely. she makes every song she sings have that jazy feel to it. and that, is SO COOL.

• floorball on friday was nice. jay sern and syahmie came.  :)  

• he finished earlier than his brother. WOW.

• had a great time with the three girls yesterday. thank you!

• i didn't eat or drink for 24 hours straight. that's like a whole day. WHOAA. 

• form 4 maths is killing. how do people survive these things?  o.o
