The Meaning of Marriage.
Am currently reading The Meaning of Marriage by Tim and Kathy Keller. :)
I honestly feel so blessed and grateful to have Kevin now. Looking towards marriage, towards building a life together, working on issues and differences between us, discussing theological and doctrinal issues (my trying to be intellectually stimulating HAHA), laughing at each other's silliness, being manja with one another, encouraging one another in terms of uni work etc.
Reading the book, I realised that there is a lot of hard work in a good marriage. It's not all smooth sailing, strawberries, roses and flowers like how they portray it in Hollywood.
Even the 'glue' for marriage takes hard work and effort. Definitely not what I imagined!
Having said all the above, I'm definitely looking forward to marriage. Being married to someone you've decided on committing your whole life to serving and caring for, and to building them up in godliness and helping one another become more Christ-like.
Whee whee whee wheeee.
Oh really now, we are so silly. :)
Hi from us! :)
